Our aim is to service to the highest levels, above and beyond dealer expectations. By only using genuine service parts (filters, spark plugs etc.) you can be sure that your car's warranty is protected at all times.

We are big fans of fitting genuine service parts - oil filters, spark plugs and the like. Very big fans. Genuine parts are made by the manufacturer that made your car. They fit your car perfectly and are designed to work absolutely in harmony with your car. Genuine parts are priced competetively in relation to their non-genuine counterparts and are in fact cheaper in many cases.
Two levels of service:
TFA "A" service
This is our smaller, interim service. This service helps maintain your vehicle and prevents unforeseen faults. Included is an oil and filter change and a wide range of checks on the fundamental items such as brakes and engine fluids.
This service combines particually well with an MOT.
A full report is generated for your records.
TFA "B" service
This is a very comprehensive annual service for trouble free motoring. It exceeds most manufacturer's service schedules with up to 105 checks and adjustments and includes the replacement of spark plugs and the air filter element as well as changing the engine oil and oil filter. We check and record wear and tear items using a colour code reporting system to give you peace of mind.
A full report is generated for your records.
Courtesy cars
To keep you on the road whilst your car is being serviced you're more than welcome to borrow a courtesy car on a free of charge basis. All we ask you to do is swap your insurance over onto our car so it is covered 'fully comp'.

Recovery
Is your car un-driveable? Does your vehicle need recovering? Call us. We can help. If it's out of hours call this number: 07956 543753.
Diagnostics
We have invested in the latest diagnostic equipment. If you have a light 'on' on your dashboard, we'll diagnose it. If your car is hesitant or not running quite right - we'll diagnose the problem. We can extinguish airbag lights too. But, please remember: if the root of the problem is not corrected, the light may re-appear at a later date.
* The correct type and specification of engine oil varies immensely from car manufacturer to car manufacturer. Your car may specify 'Long Life Oil' which is alot more costly than 'Semi-Synthetic Oil'.

Warranty protected
Government legislation passed in 2003 called “Block Exemption” means that an independent garage can now carry out your car service, so that the warranty is still protected - this now means you no longer need to use a main dealer to do your car service.
At Tony Fowkes Automobiles we only use GENUINE car parts of OE (Original Equipment) standard, making sure your warranty is protected at all times.
Main dealers may try and influence your decision to stay with them, but the reality is that a car service or car repair with Tony Fowkes Automobiles is just as good, if not better and is always likely to be cheaper than what a main dealer charges.
In most cases, main dealers and independent garages use the same car part suppliers in the UK, so any misleading comments by a main dealer trying to entice you into staying with them are not really warranted.
